At Double Exposure we’re keen to help other photographers in the right environment, that’s why we’ve started to hire out the premises we work in. We know that having the right studio, equipment and support is key to generating fantastic images.
We’ve found that lots of amateur photographers who book onto our tuition programs benefit from returning to use the facilities at their leisure, in fact it’s something we encourage. We don’t ask a fortune to hire the photography studio, we’d rather ensure they are going to get the results they need - whether it’s personal or commercial.
Carlo popped in the other day with a client for a model portfolio shoot, he’s come so far with his skills in the last 12 months and is getting the images his clients want to pay for. Most of his recent work can be found on his Facebook page: here’s a screen grab of a recent shot of his.
Steve Cook, a local photographic entrepreneur came in to finalise the shooting of the Daily Echo’s children photos competition - getting things spot on for the final publications.
We’ve got some great kit on board but welcome you to bring anything you need. Aside from the dedicated studio upstairs, we can offer you an industrial warehouse space - it’s a bit bohemian but provides a huge amount of space to photograph the bigger stuff in life: cars, bikes and groups of people. We have Manfrotto and colorama backgrounds up and downstairs, Bowens lighting kits, reflectors, umbrellas, soft boxes, honeycomb grids and gold/silver bounce reflectors. This is supported by Elinchrom Radio Triggers, ensuring the lights fire each time, and every time.
