Southampton Boat Show 2011 - Sea Fresh
September 28, 2011
The Southampton Boat Show 2011
Mark and I were invited to the show by Sea Fresh, a local engineering company based in Poole. We have worked with them this summer to produce some great shots of their desalination water pumps for marine vessels.
We needed to get the photographs required for their display stand at the show - they needed to show potential clients what they do (make), after all.
Our photographs were shot in our studio, and turned around the same day. We made sure the colours and lighting levels were perfect - we never let work go without these fundamental industry standard checks.
The photographs were enlarged and printed onto large exhibition canvasses for the show, and the shots held up brilliantly, with the colour and tone looking great too.

Aside from checking out the Sea Fresh stand and our work, we spent many hours looking around the show for other potential clients. It is great place to get talking with other business owners, especially south-coast based manufacturing firms.
According to most people we spoke to on the Tuesday, it had been quiet. I hope it picked up toward the end of the show, I’m sure the weather that week didn’t help - apparently the average spend (not including the sale of boats) is £1000!
