Recently we’ve completed some really lovely food photography we’re proud of, and wanted to show more images from our shoots on this blog. The projects were undertaken in our photography studios here in Bournemouth, UK.
We have a full working kitchen here, and lots of studio space, so the shoots were easy for us to have all the pieces in place for the work to run smoothly. With a photographer, assistant, stylist and home economist we worked hard with our clients to generate exactly the images they required!
We always try to ensure we have thought of everything, from the correct and fresh ingredients to the style and feel of our lighting – every aspect is important to us. We also pay close attention to how an image will work if cropped, which is especially important with today’s versatile briefs and web/social image requirements.
Some of the most enjoyable aspects, apart from the lighting and photography, are working closely with our in-house stylist on the style of props and materials that create the backbone of each image concept – we genuinely get very excited when discussing different surfaces of wood, stone and plastics!
The more creative and varied our shoots are, the more interesting our props and surfaces become – this ultimately leads to a very well equipped store cupboard ensuring we have the capabilities and resources to take on future projects!
If you need a food and drinks photographer in the UK, why not get in touch with our photography studios here in Bournemouth, to see what we have to offer.
We have a full portfolio of photography you can view online here also.
